An official Okaloosa County Sheriff’s Workplace escorted fallen OCSO Cpl. Ray Hamilton to Okaloosa County from Pensacola on Monday.
This procession, which was restricted to the official escort automobiles, left Pensacola about 2 p.m. and took U.S. Freeway 98 into Mary Esther. From there it traveled from Doolittle Boulevard to Martin Luther King Jr. Boulevard and Hurlburt Area Highway to the last word vacation spot of Emerald Coast Funeral House on Racetrack Highway.
Okaloosa County Sheriff’s Workplace deputies have remained with Hamilton since his demise Saturday and can proceed to face vigil as much as and thru his memorial service.

Hamilton, a 5-year-OCSO veteran and a member of the OCSO Particular Response Staff, was shot whereas responding to a home violence incident at a North Park Boulevard residence close to Fort Walton Seaside. He succumbed to his accidents within the hospital.
The suspect within the incident was shot within the arm by return fireplace, given medical consideration and transported to the jail on a cost of premeditated homicide.
